Day 1 March 29 (Thu) Manila - Tokyo - Asakusa 
ASAKUSA KANNON TEMPLE
   The true name of "Asakusa Kannon" is "Kinryuzan Sensoji". But it is affectionately called as "Asakusa no Kannon sama".  Sensoji was founded in 628 and was the oldest temple in Tokyo.   The principal image of the Sensoji Temple is Kanzeon Bosatsu which was discovered in the Sumida River 1,400 years ago.
  The big lantern(photo: right) of the Deva gate, Nio-mon, is a popular souvenir picture spot.
NAKAMISE SHOPPING STREET
   The " NAKAMISE" is a shopping arcad between a Deva gate(Nio-mon) and a Sensoji mail hall.  You can buy interesting souvenir things, such as Japanese clothes(Kimono), paper lantern(Chochin), samurai's clothes, key chain, T-shirts...etc.

  Try to eat "Ningyoyaki" for meryenda if you hungry before dinner.

Day 3 March 31 (Sat) Mt. Fuji, Hakone
Mt. FUJII and HAKONE, LAKE ASHI
   Mt. Fuji has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site,On 22 June 2013, the highest mountain in Japan by the altitude of 3776 meters. The tourist can go to the 5th station of Mt.Fuji by bus and car.
  One of Hakone volcanic groups "Kamiyama"had erupted approximately 3,000 years ago, and Lake Ashi was made by mountain body collapse. Enjoy cruise for one hour.

Day 4  April 1 (Sun) Koyoto, Nara, Osaka
BULLET TRAIN SHINKANSEN TOYOHASHI to KYOTO
   Bullet Train is called "Shinkansen" in Japanese.  The first Shinkansen was inaugurated between Tokyo station and Shin-Osaka station on October 1, 1964.

  We will get a Shinkansen "Kodama" at the Toyohashi station and enjoy high speed until Kyoto station.

KIYOMIZUDERATEMPLE(KYOTO)
   In 794, the capital was moved in Kyoto via Nagaokakyo of Kyoto from Heijokyo of Nara. Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Koryu-ji temple and Kamakura-dera temple were founded before capital was moved in Kyoto.  
   Kiyomizu-dera temple consists of the Niomon Gate, Three-stried pagoda, Amida hall and the main hall which is 15 stories high and built without use of any nails.
Kiyomizudera Temple is a famous place of cherry blossoms.
KINKAKUJI TEMPKE(Golden Pavillion)
  Kinkakuji Temple was founded by the third Muromachi shogunate Yoshimitsu Ashikaga in 1397.   The real name of Kinkakuji is "Rokuonji".   This building's name is Shariden but Shariden is called Kinkakuji. Because the outside and the inner side of Shariden are covered with gold leaf.
  This area including the Kinkakuji Temple is registered into the world heritage of UNESCO.
Kinkakuji temple is one of the most popular temple in Kyoto.
TODAIJI TEMPLE, NARA PARK (NARA)
      Todaiji Temple is located in Nara ken, and it was built in the 8th century.
The big Buddha statue, about 15 meters hight, is called "DAIBUTSU". The big Buddha statue is installed in "KONDO".   Therefore, "KONDO" is also called "DAIBUTSU-DEN(photo: left)".
  We can see the wooden structures .... "NANDAI-MON", NIGATSUDO", "SANGATSUDO", "GOJU-NO-TO(Five-storied pagoda)" etc.....which is historically worthy  

  Many deer are kept in Nara-koen Park. If you give "Shika-Senbei" to deers, deers bow to you.
"Shika-Sebei" is a kind of biscuit. (dear feeding is option)
